"A German goulash soup recipe I found on the web while searching for ZWT recipes. You can also use it as a sauce over noodles or potatoes."

• Yields: 6 cups
• Serves: 6

ingredients

• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 bell peppers, green bell, chopped
• 4 tablespoons tomato paste
• 1 lb beef, cubed
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 6 cups beef broth
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

directions

1. Saute the onions and green peppers in the butter until the onions are transparent.
2. Add the tomato paste and cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Add the beef cubes and then add all of the other ingredients.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.
5. Serve hot alone or over potatoes or pasta.

Very good stew.I added salt and pepper to taste, and a little extra paprika. Made for ZWT6.
