- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup orange juice or 1 cup skim milk
- 1 teaspoon honey or 1 teaspoon Equal sugar substitute
- 6 ice cubes
- Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Add more juice if desired.
I used the milk option and found that it wasn't sweet or flavorful as the strawberry version of this drink. I think the orange juice it would add the needed sweetness and flavor, so I would try it that way next time.
This is so thick that you could almost use a spoon. I didn't add any sweetening I tasted after blending and it was sweet enough. No way you could go wrong here.
FABULOUS! This simple mix of fruity flavors is very tasty and refreshing. I like the purple color too. I used frozen blueberries and Splenda. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.
