I just tried one of your recipes and was just looking through all of them, when I came across this one. This is Potica and you will find it on Easter in every house in Slovenia not( Yugoslavia), so if you can fix that please, it would make all Slovenians happy, since we were always Slovenia. We also have another version that I personally like better. I just need to sit down and post my recipes.Oh, and we always use rum.

Was going to substitute something else for the liquor, but since I did have just enough Amaretto, that's what I used! I enjoyed making this bread, as much as anything because of the dried fruit & nut filling! Never having tasted this kind of bread before, I have nothing to hold up as a standard, but I can tell you that it is VERY, VERY TASTY & was well-worth making! Thanks, much, for posting the recipe!
