Looking for something different? Try this for something new and tropical! You will love it! Guava has a sweet vanilla-like flavor that pairs wonderfully with the mint and rum.
- 3 ounces rum
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 3 ounces guava nectar
- 3 -4 mint sprigs, plus more for garnish
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- club soda (optional)
- Muddle mint springs and sugar together in a measuring cup. Use this cup to measure the rum and juices so you rinse out all the yummy goodness.
- Place muddled mint and sugar in cocktail shaker half filled with ice, add rum and juices and shake 15 times.
- Strain into glass filled with ice. Dilute to desired strength with club soda. optional.
- Garnish with mint.
I've had a can of guava nectar in my cabinet for a long time and didn't quite know what to do with it. I love mojitos, so I thought I'd give this a try. It was really good! I still prefer the traditional recipe, but it's nice to change it up a little. Thanks!

Delish! A perfect pink color for a girly get together. I'll go heavy on the mint sprigs next time, as not much of the mint pieces come through the strainer, and I like my mint pieces in a mojito. Thanks for the great recipe!
