Awesome! We loved the "fresh" bite of the salsa verde in the creamy and oh so savoury gruyere fondue base. All of our dippers were yummy, though the simplicity of hunks of baguette cloaked in this bright fondue were our favorite for their rustic, warming and classic comfort food appeal.

I made this last year for New Years Eve and it was wonderful! I made it again this year and it wasn't as good. You need good gruyere cheese for this. We tried the cheese before melting it and we knew it wasn't going to be as good. It was still a very nice fondue, but with a good flavorful gruyere it's out of this world. Highly recommend this with shrimp, a nice baguette and some veggies.

We did a fondue party for New Year's, and this was by far the favorite. We used the leftovers with leftover veggie dippers, and made a wonderful cheesy vegetable soup.
