      Very tasty!! However, I didn't see flour listed in the list of ingredients. I thickened it with 2 T but should have used a bit more. But never the less, it was a huge success at this years Christmas feast!! Thanks for submitting it.

      I liked this. I added less than a cup of sour cream. I think it kind of overpowered everything else. My son didn't care for it. I think that I may leave it out completely next time or add like a tablespoon at a time.

      I think this is five stars but based on the general reaction of family, I gave it four stars. I took this to an Oktoberfest dinner and it was uniformly well received. Made it again today for New Year's Day and not as well received. Myself, I think it beats the socks off of the French's Onion green beans but not so with my family. Nonetheless, very nice way to make green beans. I confess, I use only 2 T of butter and one T of sugar. Very nice.

      Deeevine green beans, a bit like an elegant sweet and sour green bean casserole without the baking. I used 1lb of fresh, cooked beans(with it's salted cooking liquid), olive oil, skim milk and 1/2c of fat free sour cream. It still tasted marvelously thick, creamy and indulgent.       I substituted creamed chicken as 2 kids wont eat mushrooms no way no how, heated on stove top. Absolutley perfection! Great tasting, easy to prepare and every bit was GONE! Really did lick the platter clean. Going to have this for Christmas.
