Absolutely excellent! My first time cooking with turkey of any kind and was weary about it, but this recipe calmed my fears! I didn't have crushed tomatoes so I used 2 1/2 cups fresh tomatoes from my garden and diced them up. It was great! My 11 year old loved it too!
Super good sauce. I wasn't going to add the butter, but I'm really glad that I did. It add so much to the sauce. It tastes great right now but I'm going to serve it tomorrow night only because I think these types of sauces always taste better the next day. Thanks so much for posting this healthy tasty recipe!
I loved this sauce! I used olive oil in place of the butter and fresh oregano and basil in place of the dried. It's was very flavorful. Thanks for posting!
I made this last weekend and everyone really enjoyed it. Even my mother who is known for her spaghetti sauce. I'm making it again today but didn't have crushed tomato sauce so I threw in some Barilla jarred sauce along with the fresh onion, garlic, black pepper and we'll see how it turns out. Thanks for posting.
My husband absolutely loved this sauce. I myself thought it was good, but right now my taste buds are all out of whack from just having had a baby. So I will be making this for sure again though!!
This was a wonderful sauce! I love the fact that it is healthy. It had lots of flavor and tasted like it was ground beef! It made a lot of sauce too, so I froze the extra for another use. Thanks for the recipe, I'll be sure to use it again!
This recipe was wonderful. Way better than any jar of sauce.
Awesome recipe - I did it exactly as written except I added the butter at the end of cooking the turkey as a sort of finishing. Had it with bean pasta, as I am low carb high protein. One serving with the bean pasta had over 40 grams of protein! Will be making this again - easy and delicious. Thank you!
