I didn't add the red chilies. This was a real hit with the family. Will definitely make again.

I made this last night, and I really hate to give bad ratings but the texture made me gag and that's hard to do. I really wasn't crazy over this. I may try again with stir fry steak instead of ground beef.

Wonderful comfort food. Great meal. Followed the recipe exactly, except for the bell peppers. Didn't have any. Served over brown rice. Delicious! Thanks, 1Steve. Will do it again soon.

I just made this and it is yummy!!! As it is i give it four stars, but with a few modifications it can be five stars! I think it needs about 1 tsp of ground ginger and way more soy sauce. It also desperately needs brown sugar. I didnt measure how much I added but just eyeball it. I just regular onions instead of green and a pack of powdered mushroom gravy mixed with a cup of water. I just used a frozen bag of stir fry vegetables and that worked great. Served with brown rice. It was delicious!!!

This came out really well especially for my friend children who are sometimes very finiky eaters. I chopped most of the veggies that the kids didn't like so small that they didn't even see them and they LOVED it!!!! Sometimes that's a hard thing to do. Thank you for the recipe!!

This was very good. I had to change a few things. First, I didn't have a can of gravy; however, I did have a box of brown gravy, but it only yielded one cup. I added one cup of water to it. It was okay. I added a little ground ginger to the gravy and some minced garlic, about 1 tsp. Also, I had some broccoli that I have been meaning to use, so I added it. Also, I used 4 T of soy sauce, it was by accident, but it turned out great. I didn't have any chilies, so I just added some crushed red pepper, probably about 1/2 tsp. . . In the end, it was quite good! OH, and I didn't have any green onions so I just used one white onion. Okay . . that was all the changes that I made!! Great recipe! Thanks!!

Was better than I expected. I usually don't like ground beef but the flavors in this recipe really made it great!

It was okay. No wow factor. Reminded me of Hamburger Helper w/ rice instead of noodles.

I love easy recipes that taste great! I was reluctant at first because I'm not a fan of gravy, but YUMMMM! This was a very delicious meal! I didn't cut the celery, carrots or onions as mentioned, I put them in a mini processor. WONDERFUL! Thanks for sharing!

I make a lot of Oriental Style dishes. This one was great and very simple. I didn't have carrots, but I kept the recipe the same except for adding 2 tbsp. of sugar and mushrooms. I can imagine this would be wonderful with steak!

We loved this recipe. Tasted very much like a recipe I made up myself but using strips of london broil. I like the ground beef in this. Very easy to make. Delicious over brown rice!

Wonderful!! We did substitute more celery for the green onion, but didn't miss the difference. I also used a previously cooked & frozen package of ground beef to shorten the cook time. I cut the carrots into matchsticks to give a more ethnic look. Definately one to keep.
