      This was a good dish to use up a lot of zucchini and summer squash that I had on hand. It uses staple ingredients, was easy to make, and to my husband and I it tasted like comfort food. The flavors blend nicely, and the texture was similar to a stew. One skillet of this and you have a complete meal.

      Its summer time and the garden has lots of summer squash coming on this is great and the boys love it. I rate it A #1 great. thanks

      I prepared this several times using my moms canned tomatoes. I used a 1 quart jar just dumping the full jar in. instead of the sauce and diced tomatoes the recipe calls for. I really enjoy this recipe and it is a good way for my sons to eat veggies.

      I edited this a bit in cooking - but it was very tasty. A great dinner.

      While We enjoy all of these flavors individually, this dish fell flat for us. It was really bland. The first night we used Tabasco to give it some flavor after it was on our plates. Tonight I added spices (basil, oregano, red pepper) while reheating and that helped, but I don't think I'll be making this again.
