This receipe is a keeper. I added 1 cup of cooked brown rice to the meat mixture. Will make again.
We enjoyed this. I gave it 5 stars for simple and tasty
Beyond scrumptous...easy to prepare and delicious!
This is VERY good. I would liken it to spaghetti w/o the pasta and it is as good and is healthier.Hubby loved it and he loves his pasta...nuf said.
This was very good, and I will definitely fix it again sometime. I doubled the recipe and served it over organic brown rice.
This was so very simple to make. Delicious! I will Definitely make it again.
I'm rating this 5 stars with a disclaimer - - Is this the best thing I've ever made? No. Would it win any culinary awards? Probably Not. Is it an exceptionally easy way to put a nice, hot, nutritious meal in front of the family that they will enjoy? Absolutely Yes!!!! If your family likes stuffed cabbage rolls (and you shudder at the thought of boiling uncooperative cabbage leaves then rolling and stuffing for half an hour - then this is your recipe! I made it as is, with a bit more tomato sauce. Next time, I'll stir some cooked rice (about 1 cup or less) into the ground beef mixture - then it will become a deconstructed cabbage roll. Serve with mashed potatoes and you've got a winter winner on your hands! Oh, and a hearty sprinkling of parmesan cheese will give it a nice slight crustiness if you uncover for the last 15 minutes!
It was wonderful. The only thing I did different was add a bit of Mozzarella cheese on top.Ten minutes before it was done.
We chunked it in the trash and had to serve
sausage balls for dinner. How embarassing!
Luckily my husband saw the humor and was
ok with an appetizer for dinner.
Good and easy to make, as well as filling. Thanks for sharing!
