Directions

  1. Boil the grits in 1 cup of wate. Stir for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool.
  2. Mix turkey, egg, nutmeg, orange zest, pepper, salt and grits (which should be rather dry and crubley).
  3. Form into 24 balls.
  4. Brown the GOBs in hot oil. Shake the pan frequently.
