These onions are very good. This makes a nice light meal with a salad and bread. If you love onions, you should love these! Recipe is from Simple and Delicious.

  1. With a sharp knife, carefully remove a 1-inch core from the center of each onion.
  2. Cut each onion into four wedges to within 1/2 inch of root end.
  3. Place each onion on a double thickness of heavy-duty foil (about 12 in square).
  4. Place bouillon in the centers of onions; top with butter, thyme, salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzle with wine or broth if desired.
  6. Fold foil around onions and seal tightly.
  7. Prepare grill for indirect heat.
  8. Grill onions, covered, over indirect medium heat for 35-40 minutes or until tender.
  9. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape.

I did these in the oven instead of on the grill. My family realy liked them. We WILL fix them again
