1. Here is an excellent recipe that made our tastebuds say "WOW"!

 2. Wonderful flavor! Very well rounded with not too much spiciness but enough to taste it. I even made some extra of the marinade slightly watered down to spoon over the yellow rice I served it with. I did not have skewers so I just cut it up in about 2x2 inch squares-just so that it wouldn't fall through the grates of the grill. Very good recipe, and definitely a keeper! Thank you Aaliyah&Aaron's Mum!

 3. Another WOW from Aaliyah and Aaron's mom ! Amazing how recipes a half a world away make for awesome here in Saskatchewan. Made this for one of our holiday appetizers - not only is this recipe added to my appetizer cookbook - it's in my main dish as well - this recipe is sure to make for a great main dish using the whole chicken breasts. At our house you just can't have too many recipes for those chicken breasts! Yes- this is an awesomely good recipe! Having a fresh chili pepper on hand I used both the red chili pepper and the green onion for garnish. Thank you for sharing - know I will be working my way through those recipes of yours!!

 4. I also skipped the garnish and then added pineapple to the skewer. This was delicious!! A very mild spice with a touch of sweet. Wonderful!!

 5. We loved this chicken - the marinade is delicious. I think this will also work well with bone-in chicken. Thanks for sharing this keeper!

I thoroughly enjoy baking, but have to admit, I have two left hands when it comes to decorating cakes! I also do a bit of knitting (beginner's stage) and reading. Stephen King and Dean Koontz are my all time favourite authors, and, of course, LOVE Calvin and Hobbes (does it show??!!)

I search for recipes that carry ingredients I can get hold of locally (or I have stocked in my cupboard!). Recipes I have posted are ALL tried and tested and have been enjoyed by all! So, I hope you and your family will enjoy as well!

My rating system is fairly simple. Since I only pick recipes that I know my family will enjoy (looking at the list of ingredients), it's either 5 or 4 stars, I do not go any lower. I may sometimes do a bit of tweaking but that is only due to my family's tastes. If I do have problems with a recipe or if it didn't turn out the way it should have done, then I just leave a comment without any rating.
