Really enjoyed this recipe. So easy and delicious. Thinking of using the rub on other things as well!
Excellent recipe for salmon. The combination of herbs and spices was wonderful and we loved the brown sugar for a touch of sweetness. This made quite a bit of dry rub so we'll be enjoying this again soon, and I might add a bit of cayenne for a little more heat.
Very flavorful, not too spicy.
This was excellent. I doubled the brown sugar, because we like rubs on the sweeter side, and it was perfect. This is definitely a keeper! Thanks for posting it!
This was every bit as good as everybody says. I cooked the salmon on the grill exactly as suggested in the recipe and it was perfect. I did add a spice rub to my salmon (Whole Foods Teguila-Cilantro mix) , but everything else was to recipe. This sauce would be good on chicken and other seafood. Thanks for posting.
Delicious! This is a keeper. I am going to try the rub mixture on some chicken breasts and pork chops also! Thanks for posting this one.
This was sooooo good. My fish-ambivalent kids raved about it. Very easy to make. I put the fish and the seasonings in a baggie to coat them and let them marinate in the fridge, then broiled them in the oven (which took longer than grilling -- I took them out too soon). It's going in my do-again cookbook!
Made this recipe last night and we loved it! I like the spice mixture and the combination of brushing on the oils and then the rub!I will keep this as a fave. I plan to try it on chicken and shrimp. Thanks
We enjoyed this salmon. It is spicy, but not too spicy (dd would dissent, but the parents both agree). I had the sesame oil, but agree that plain olive oil would probably work just as well. There was no noticeable sesame flavor, though it may have added something subtle to the mixture of flavors. I was out of thyme, so left that out.
