- 2 lbs shrimp, raw
- 1 garlic clove, mashed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons parsley, minced
directions
- Peel and de-vein shrimp. (heads can be removed or left on according to your preferred presentation method).
- mash garlic clove and add all ingredients to make a marinade.
- marinade shrimp for at least 4 hours.
- depending on the size of shrimp used you can either skewer or lay them on grill individually. (I use jumbo for this so I don't have to fool with the skewers).
- grill over med heat for about 10 minutes turning 1/2 way through,.
