Grilled Shrimp

"these are great grilled on hibachi or bbq. In the winter I broil them. they are good either way. To broil lay in a shallow pan fairly close to the heat source for about 12 minutes turning 1/2 way through. prep time doesn't include marinade time."

  • Peel and de-vein shrimp. (heads can be removed or left on according to your preferred presentation method).
  • mash garlic clove and add all ingredients to make a marinade.
  • marinade shrimp for at least 4 hours.
  • depending on the size of shrimp used you can either skewer or lay them on grill individually. (I use jumbo for this so I don't have to fool with the skewers).
  • grill over med heat for about 10 minutes turning 1/2 way through,.
