A favorite at our house, simple to make. The flavorings are really simple, so it doesn't drown out the flavor of the shrimp.

  1. Peel and devein shrimp (or have your seafood guy do it for you).
  2. Combine butter and lime juice. Dip shrimp in butter mixture, and thread tail and neck of each shrimp on skewers so shrimp will lie flat,(soak skewers in water ahead of time, so they dont burn).
  3. Grill over medium hot coals 3-4 minutes on each side, or until pink. Serve butter mixture with shrimp.

This recipes gets stars both for it's simplicity and for it's flavor. I didn't bother threading the shrimp onto skewers. Instead I used my grill wok so none of the shrimp would be lost in the fire. I think I may add some garlic to the sauce next time but it really was good without. Made for My Three Chefs June 2012.
