      Delicious salmon recipe. It's so darn easy, too. I was cooking late night tonight, so I just used a cast iron skillet to cook the salmon. The pecan butter is fantastic. What a great combination of flavors. Thank you!

      I used salmon fillets and this was excellent. The pecan butter really enhanced the salmon. I used the chives option. DH said this was the best salmon he ever had! made for CCQ Culinary Quest 2014

      The recipe was scaled to 2 servings. Keta salmon fillets was used in place of the steaks. The salmon was sprinkled with a seasoning blend and grilled. Loved the pecan butter addition. The pecan butter was made a little ahead and placed in the refrigerator until serving time. Made for Culinary Quest and Salmon 101 Challenge.

      Because my husband is a chemist who has to test all sorts of different nuts for growers, I have an over-abundance of almonds, so used those instead of the pecans. It still was flavorful and leant a nice crunchiness to the fish.
