Mmmm! This is great for breakfast! DH and split one and drizzled it with honey and sprinkled the top with come cinnamon! Perfect! Light and filling! Thanks for posting this was the first time we have had this sandwhich but certainly not the last! Made for PAC Spring 2010!

My dad makes these! I always liked them growing up, and now my husband likes them too. Thanks for reminding me about these sandwiches, I need to get my daughters to try them!

I've been making these for my daughter for years....she never did care for grilled cheese. The only difference is that we also add jam to the sandwich, and since I make several at a time, we use a cookie sheet in the oven. I like mine plain, but Joanna dips hers in chicken noodle soup before eating...weird !

I loved these sandwiches growing up! They're comfort food now and never as good as Mom made them. I never liked them with crunch peanut butter, but I don't like that to begin with. I've always thought they would be good to try with other nut butters too. Maybe almond? I'm allergic to tree nuts so I can't try it myself so someone should do it for me! :)
