    KateL's Note:

Entered for safe-keeping. This is a no-salt appetizer from Donald Gazzaniga's "The No-Salt, Lowest-Sodium Cookbook". No Salt and Very Low Sodium recipes really do help heart patients get their blood pressure and fluid build-up under control. But food can still taste good. If using the barbecue or a broiler, use the cooling rack for the grill or skewers to keep the mushrooms form "falling through."

12/15/2013 Yummy! These went so well with our steak...cooked them on my cast iron grill pan...we loved the flavor and I love the ease of preparing them...I had large mushrooms so I cut them in half...we like our mushrooms on the firm side so I made sure to not over cook them...thanks for posting it...=) 1//17/2014 Here it is about a month later and I have made these tasty shooms a couple of times now...this is a must make...

This was a simple and great marinade with all the ingredients on hand already. Threw these on the grill on skewers while my marinated tofu cooked. Very good!
