Easy and tasty. Maybe a tad salty, though that may vary with the brand of ham, I think Thanks!

Excellent combination!!!! I substituted paprika for cayenne. My husband loved the flavor of the spices! Our whole family devoured the ham! I loved how easy it was to throw together too! Thanks for sharing!

Added a really nice flavour to normal everyday ham. I sub'd the cayenne with essence spice. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent. Just what I was looking for. Spicy and not sweet at all (the brown sugar was hardly noticed). I omitted the salt as ham is naturally salty and the chili powder has salt in it. This was the perfect compliment to the grilled flavor. I cooked mine over natural lump charcoal. Thanks for posting.

I used 2 large bone-in ham steaks because that was what I had in the freezer and I didn't have any cayenne pepper. Other ingredients were used exactly as listed. Grilled about 3 1/2 minutes each side on my indoor grill at slightly higher than medium heat which made beautiful char markings. My husband loved it! Not too spicy at all but maybe that was the missing cayenne? I served with a loaded baked potato and salad. Very fast & yummy weekday supper. Next time I'll try with the wine! :-) Updated to add stars - I submitted without any last time - sorry.

Whew!! Too hot for me. I used ALL of the rub on about 1lb of steaks. I don't recommend doing that unless you know you can handle the heat.
