- 1 (2 -3 lb) flank steaks, 1/2-inch thick
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 cup sherry wine
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Combine all ingredients except meat. Pour over steak and marinate for at least 6 to 8 hours.
- Grill over hot flame for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once.
This is a great marinade. We cooked indoors using our grill pan and the steaks came out nice and tender. We served it with grilled peppers & onions to compliment the steak. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)
