Grilled Chicken Wings With Spicy Chipotle Sauce and Blue Cheese-

"This is from Bobby Flay. I have not made them yet, but just watched the video and they sure look fantastic!! I may double the dip, as we love to dip! The 30 minutes of fridge time for the dressing is not included in the cooking time, so plan accordingly."

  • Heat grill to high.
  • Toss wings in a few tablespoons of oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on the grill in single layers and grill until golden brown on both sides and just cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  • Chipotle Hot Sauce:

  • Whisk together the vinegar, Dijon mustard, chipotle puree, honey, and oil in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet or a large pot. Add the hot sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
  • Whisk in the ancho chile powder and season with salt, to taste.
  • Blue Cheese-Yogurt Dip:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Add the wings to the hot sauce mixute, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Serve with Blue Cheese-Yogurt Dip,.

<p>Hello all, being from California, I can honestly say I am a foodie. You can walk by construction workers here and hear them saying things like, So I used some fresh garlic and olive oil, then threw the rest into the pan to sautee. LOL I love all kinds of food, and trying to eat healthier as I get older, but still indulge in the occasional deep-fried food or sweet. <br />I LOVE this site! I have 3 or 4 other food sites such as Epicurious and Food Network, but I always come back here!
