It was my first time trying onion in a grilled cheese. It was great. It was soft just enough. I added a slice of rosemary ham. I grilled it on my panini pan. Thanks Redsie. Made for Gimme 5 tag game

Loved these! Simple but tasty and I love the addition of sweet onions.

I made this great grilled cheese for lunch today. I loved the combination of the old cheddar, dijon mustard and sweet vadallias. They all blended so well together and really compliment one another perfectly. I used Scottish bread but followed your directions, cooking on low with a lid, my grilled cheese was done in 5 minutes. I can't wait to make these for my dh...he's going to love it also...thanks for sharing Redsie.

Oh so simple but oh so good. I'd never thought of putting onion on a grilled cheese before. Yummy. I used slices of Italian bread, red onion and added thin slices of tomatoes. Loved the flavor the Dijon mustard added. Thanks so much for sharing.

These are delicious! I had not had onion on a grilled cheese before, but I will certainly repeat this recipe quite often. I used slices of of a slender loaf of french bread, which made appetizer size sandwiches. I prepared the recipe as directed, grilling them on my grill pan. Yummy! The sweet tartness of the dijon mustard compliments the cheese and onion divinely. Only made two since it was just me for supper and I wish I had made two more LOL! This is definitely a keeper and a repeater. Thanks Redsie! Zaar tag
