  1. I am proud to be the first to say this was great. Made it alongside grilled chicken and it was awesome. I put 1/2 a pat of butter in as well but don't know if it was necessary. I made several and had enough for on the oatmeal the next morning. Great recipe!

  2. Delicious campfire side dish or dessert! We added a pat of butter too, which also adds calories, but we like the extra "cream" factor. Another idea my sister in law had was to use an apple slicer, take out the center and just put the apple back together. This worked out wonderfully because you can just pick up each piece with your fork and no cutting necessary :-) Yummy!

  3. I made these tonight on a whim and they were so good, I decided to see if anyone had posted the recipe yet....sure enough, here it is! Like the other reviewer, I added a pat of butter. I also used Splenda Brown Sugar Sub and mixed with cinnamon (lots!) before putting into the core. I made a "tray" out of foil to keep apple upright while it cooked. This is grilling at it's best! Thanks for the post!
