Really good! The balsamic glaze is so good with this. I also used the hot pepper oil recipe suggested. This will be made again as we eat a lot of asparagus! Thanks for sharing.

Terrific! I used your Hot Pepper Oil as suggested and it was SO good. The balsamic syrup was just yummy and a perfect match to both the asparagus and the spicy oil. Thanks for posting this wonderful recipe!

Gushing reviews from all my diners. I made your recipe for Hot Pepper Oil as suggested and plan to use it for other purposes, too. The balsamic "drizzle" was fabulous. Even the youngest was swiping his plate with his finger. His big ole wet kiss was well worth my effort. Made for Please Review My Recipe

The balsamic syrup is really good. I enjoyed the wonderful taste of the grilled asparagus with it. I think the balsamic glaze would go well with grilled meats too! I made this for PRMR tag. Thanks for posting.

This recipe was included in Book#228608. February 26, 2008 -- This recipe is a winner! I love asparagus, and this recipe gave me a new way to cook it. It makes a great alternative to steamed asparagus; it worked perfectly with the grilled ham steak and boiled potatoes I made. I was going to take a photo of it, but my husband and son took some before I could get the camera ready. I made it with two hot oils sauces, one the Hot Pepper Oil from Nimz (Hot Pepper Oil, #222752) and another I found on RZ. Hence my name "Taste Tester." We preferred Nimz' hot oil. It a spicy, but clean taste, not overwhelmed with other ingredients. An awesome recipe -- wish I had made more.

Fantastic! I also drizzled this over the elk steaks I was serving and it was awesome! I will most definitely be making this often. Thanks Nimz!

Mmmmmm, loved the syrupy balsamic glaze! I didn't have the oil on hand so added red pepper flakes. I really enjoyed this, thanks Nimz! Made for PRMR game.

This recipe deserves so many more stars than I can give it! I have always loved grilled asparagus, but this takes it to a new level of delicious!!! The hot pepper oil is so easy to make and I'm certain that it will have so many uses in my kitchen, and the combination of the oil and balsamic glaze is just heavenly. So easy to adapt for guests by grilling some extra spears with regular olive oil and serving the glaze on the side (although IMHO, they'd be crazy not to choose the spicy oil with the glaze - but "those" kind of people do exist - lol). This will be my go-to asparagus dish from now on - thanks so much for sharing!

I served these with Kitty Kat Cook's Cashew Encrusted Tilapia and it was a perfect side dish. The sauce with these asparagus is wonderful...a combination of sweet and tart and just the right amount of spiciness to bring all the flavors together. ANOTHER winner from Nimz!!!

Managed to score some late season asparagus on sale here and decided to prepare this on my indoor grill. A big fan of almost anything with balsamic vinegar, this did not disappoint. The reduction was a perfect combination of tart and sweet and formed a delightful contrast to the spiciness from the chili oil. To cut the calories a bit I used just 2 teaspoons of oil but there was still lots of flavor. Delicious.

This recipe really perked up some asparagus that was ready to run out of steam in my fridge. I used your ever-so-useful Hot Pepper Oil, which I made and reviewed awhile back. Man, did it put a different face on staid old asparagus!

Fresh asparagus just doesn't get any better than this, I used a grill grate with a handle to grill the asparagus, which made turning so much easier, thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten

I loved the combination of sweet with a subtle heat from the chili oil. I used Chili Oil. This is a great recipe for hot summer months when grilling out is almost a necessity. Will keep this in my do again book. Thanks :)

I should have known I couldn't handle the chili oil but decided to try it anyways. It was too hot to handle for me to eat very much of it. I did like the balsamic syrup. I think I'll try this again with flavored olive oil.

Another winner! I used your pepper oil recipe I made the other day. Nice contrast of the hot and the sweetness of the vinegar. A new favorite for grilled asparagus!
