  1. Wonderful simple instructions! We put some oil and salt in a bag and shook. To keep the asparagus from fallying through the grates, we just laid down a sheet of aluminum foil under them. Cooking time was about 8 minutes on medium on the gas grill.

  2. I heated some balsamic vinegar with a little sea salt and drizzeled over the asparagus after grilling.

  3. We used one of the foil pans with holes in the bottom made for grilling veggis. And I added a sprinkle of garlic powder. It was incredible. My two year old who won't normally touch veggis inhaled them. DH, DS and I ate two pounds and wished we'd made more. This will be our go to asparagus recipe.

  4. Is it possible to overdose on this dish? I think I ate 15 spears on the first round and about that many the second time I made it. This was a HUGE hit and I really enjoyed the fast, easy prep and the quick grilling. Thanks Charlotte...this is one GREAT recipe! I did put ours in a ziploc bag with the olive oil and salt for several minutes flipping it over a couple of times to completely coat it and I added a small "pinch" of garlic powder on the second batch.

  5. Wonderful. We made these to go with our grilled steaks. I have always roasted the asparagus but never grilled. We loved it. Thank you for sharing with us.
