Bought my matcha through Amazon from Nut Online This recipe is easy and delicious. All my friends loved it. I've made green tea ice cream the hard way on a stove (and without an ice cream maker, so I had to mix every thirty minutes) and this ways is just as tasty and so much easier. I might add more powder next time, and there will be a next time!

The hardest part was finding the matcha. Once found though, it's as easy as sitting back & letting the ice cream soften. And the compliments came pouring in like I had done something hard! Hah! Too easy to impress friends, I encourage everyone to give this recipe a go. You'll love the fresh taste.

Try adding Adzuki beans to the ice cream. they come in a can or bag and are a treat and a very authentic way to eat green tea ice cream in Japan!

Outstanding! So simple. My family really likes the flavor of Green Tea so I doubled the green tea powder.

I drink matcha all the time so it was wonderful finding a recipe to make my favorite ice cream with. How can anything so good be so easy and take such a teeny bit of time? Certainly deserves a 5 star here.

I had to join to post a review here. This is so easy I can't believe it. I always spend a lot of money buying green tea ice cream and none tastes as good as this recipe. Matcha powder wasn't hard to find at all. Thank you and peace too.
