Ratings & Reviews:
Bought my matcha through Amazon from Nut Online This recipe is easy and delicious. All my friends loved it. I've made green tea ice cream the hard way on a stove (and without an ice cream maker, so I had to mix every thirty minutes) and this ways is just as tasty and so much easier. I might add more powder next time, and there will be a next time!

The hardest part was finding the matcha. Once found though, it's as easy as sitting back & letting the ice cream soften. And the compliments came pouring in like I had done something hard! Hah! Too easy to impress friends, I encourage everyone to give this recipe a go. You'll love the fresh taste.

Try adding Adzuki beans to the ice cream. they come in a can or bag and are a treat and a very authentic way to eat green tea ice cream in Japan!
