Green Tea Frappuccino

"here's another you can try at home similar to big coffee chains. They use melon syrup, this recipe uses vanilla...I think this tastes more like green tea is supposed to."

  • 12 teaspoon green tea powder (matcha)
  • 2 ounces hot water
  • 1 12 tablespoons vanilla-flavored syrup or 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, to taste
  • 4 ounces milk
  • ice

directions

  • Dissolve green tea in hot water.
  • add milk and syrup.
  • blend with a handfull or so of ice cubes.
  • top with whipped cream if desired.
