here's another you can try at home similar to big coffee chains. They use melon syrup, this recipe uses vanilla...I think this tastes more like green tea is supposed to.

  • 12 teaspoon green tea powder (matcha)
  • 2 ounces hot water
  • 1 12 tablespoons vanilla-flavored syrup or 1 12 tablespoons sugar, to taste
  • 4 ounces milk
  • ice

Directions

  1. Dissolve green tea in hot water.
  2. add milk and syrup.
  3. blend with a handfull or so of ice cubes.
  4. top with whipped cream if desired.
