- Thaw peas; do not cook.
- Break peanuts in half at seam and add to peas.
- Add sour cream and stir well.
- Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
Sometimes the simple things are the best! Wonderful foil with great taste/texture on the Thanksgiving table! Made a double portion of this & guests asked for it to be included in their takehomes from Thanksgiving! Tastes even better when the peanuts soften a bit - they get a water chestnut-like texture. I added a couple tablespoons of diced sweet onion I had leftover & it was nice but will make it next time as written. Thank you, Shellbelle, for a lovely tasty simple keeper!
