I found this in a smoothie book I have, with all that green this has got to be good for you!!
- 2 kiwi fruits, peeled
- 25 green grapes, frozen
- 1 green apple, sliced
- 4 -5 ice cubes
- orange juice or apple juice, to smooth it out
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
I made my smoothie with orange juice and omitted the ice cubes: I just didn't want it so frozen! I enjoyed this smoothie for breakfast today, but I often make smoothies the night before to enjoy as an in-the-car breakfast, so I do generally omit the ice blocks. A nice smoothie. I used apple juice and threw in a couple slices of pear that I had on hand (they are green too, right). The primary flavors were kiwi and apple which go well together. Made for Make my Recipe Edition #5.
