I got this recipe from a magazine, and use it all the time. It’s so quick, easy, and flavorful. Even my kids eat fresh green beans when I cook them like this.
- Clean green beans and remove ends.
- Steam until crispy-tender--about 8-10 minutes.
- Mix together vegetable oil and honey.
- Toss green beans until coated with honey mixture and almonds.
Very simple but great tasting! I even roasted the almonds (even though it's not good to do that) but it was really good!
Soooooo delicious!! I must have read the same magazine and make these for my family too. I sometimes use butter and I've also toasted the almonds for extra flavor. This is a "honey" of a recipe. Thanks Pufi McFluffikins!
