  1. Cooked fresh beans 10 minutes in water to cover them, drained, added garlic chopped in melted butter. Superb!

  2. I made these green beans tonight. I didn't have any frozen so I used can. I think that was a big mistake. They weren't good. I am going to get some frozen green beans and try this again

  3. We used fresh green beans and doubled the garlic. Even with the extra garlic, everyone felt it needed more. But we are a family of garlic lovers.

  4. This was so easy to do on a weeknight. I steamed the green beans and then added to the mixture of garlic and butter. Thanks Thomas Danler :) Made for Cookbook tag game

Tweaks

  1. Fresh, flavourful and really easy! Like Ben, I cooked the beans for 10 minutes because I love them crisp-tender. I used garlic powder instead of garlic, because that's all I had, and added a bit of salt as well, because I gotta have salt in everything! Now I know what to do with beans when I have absolutely nothing else on hand. Thanks Thomas!
