We liked these. Ours was a bit salty, I didn't measure the feta so maybe I put on too much but it was still a hit. I forgot the squeeze of lemon juice but I will use it next time. I used pecans because it's what I had, I think next time I will leave out the nuts our use walnuts.

Delicious with walnuts! I missed the note on squeezing a little lemon on it before serving but I'll do that next time. My husband thought it would be better with a touch of balsamic but I bet the lemon would do the trick. Thanks!

Delicious side dish!! I left out the nuts, just because I didn't have any. I mixed the olive oil and lemon juice together, then drizzled over the top and tossed. Great great great!!!!

Very Good! Enjoyed but a fig balsamic or some kind of acid would bring this over the top. I used a mix of nuts that I toasted. This is pretty before mixing in the cheese. So I would just layer it next time. The cheese did give the beans a nice creaminess and saltiness. Thanks.

This is one of the staple vegetables at our table, so a new way to make them always gets my welcome! We both enjoyed the inclusion of feta cheese here, & I also took your tip & added a squeeze of lemon juice! Will be making these again, for sure! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick A Chef event]

This was very simple and really good. I didn't add the toasted nuts, but we really don't care for nuts. I added a queeze of lemon juice like you mentioned and it was good, some what like makes up for a little addition of vinegar on regular salad like magpie diner mentions. Really good :) Made for Fall PAC 09

This is very similar to a recipe I have used for a few years, only mine calls for some vinegar to make it more salad like. This is really good though, simple to prepare. I ended up serving it more 'salad' like as opposed to a side dish. I undercooked the beans a little, put them in a pyrex bowl along with the other ingredients, and put the lid on. This just allowed for a bit of carry over cooking and softened the onion a bit. I love the addition of walnuts in this one, they went really well with the feta. Next time I'll add the lemon juice as you recommended Ingrid. Thanks for sharing!!
