  • Quickly cook the beans in a pot of boiling water for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender.
  • In another small frying pan heat the oil.
  • Fry the onion for 5 minutes then add bacon.
  • Tip out any excess fat that comes off bacon.
  • Toss the beans through the acon and onion mixture.
  • Serve immediately.
