  1. Made these green beans as a side dish to go with my Mushroom Stroganoff. The green beans were so simple and very tasty! Will definitely be making again!

  2. Get fresh vine tomatoes(3) dice them fine, parsley chopped fine, one white onion chopped...in a pan sautee the above in extra virgin olive oil til carmelized, add green beans and half can crushed tomatoes, add two bayleaves and tea spoon of tabasco for heat...allow to simmer til sauce thickens and green beans absorb the sauce...Stewed Green Beans...YUm..I serve them in my diner with roast chicken

  3. These were good. I used canned green beans and doubled this recipe. I did decrease the soy sauce by half. I added half the soy and tasted and thought if I added the other half, they would be too salty and I used lite soy sauce. I did forget the garlic but don't think we missed it. I will be making again with the changes noted.

  4. Love it, love it, love it! Did I mention that we love it?! My family is crazy about green beans and we're big soy sauce fans, too, so trying this recipe was a no-brainer for us. And so glad we did! It is a wonderful change of pace from the usual canned beans and other typical green beans recipes. Texture and taste are great. And, at 10 minutes from start to finish, I'd say that scores pretty high in my book, too. Thanks!
