A great way to make some tasty green beans from the can. This is very simple and the red pepper adds a nice kick to the flavor.

  1. Pour entire contents of green beans into a pot.
  2. Add seasoned salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Simmer on medium heat for 10-12 minutes, uncovered. If you don't use seasoned salt, you can use regular salt.

I actually enjoyed these. I always have a can of green beans in the pantry & this made a nice change. I appreciated the lower fat. Made for Pick A Chef Spring '09

I am so happy you posted this recipe! Green beans from the can is always a fall back on veggie if ive already spent alot of time on everything else....and I was sick of them! I made these last night and we loved them! This is a great way to "spice" up green beans in the can! Thank you for sharing! If you have any other ideas for the green beans please post...iam sure there are other things you can do with them out of the can, iam just not sure what. Thank you!
