- 1 lb frozen cut green beans
- 1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable broth
- 1⁄4 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

- grated parmesan cheese
directions
- In a skillet, combine the frozen green beans, sliced onion, garlic, thyme, and the vegetable broth. Cover and bring to a hard boil. Reduce heat to med-high and continue cooking for around 5 minutes, or until the beans and onions are tender. In a small bowl whisk together the cold water and cornstarch. Add to the skillet and stir until thickened. If desired season with black pepper and garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
