Yum! I cut the beans into 1 inch pieces and cooked them for 10 minutes. After roasting the almonds in the butter, I added the cooked beans to the same pot and mixed it all together, so the beans borrowed some of the buttery flavour too!

Delicious way to fix green beans! I sliced the beans lengthwise in half and par boiled them for 5 minutes. When I sauted the almomds I let the butter get a little brown then put the drained beans in the pan and mixed it all together. Great flavor!! Thanks, Karen for a great new side dish!!

This is a wonderful way to have bean. I cooked the almonds in the butter until the butter just started to turn light brown. I sliced the beans on an angle and steamed them over a bamboo steamer until they have changed colour to a bright green and still have a crunch to them. I then put the beans into the butter mixture in the pot and stirred the beans and almonds around in the butter until the beans with coated. Then I put them in a serving dish I drizzled the lemon juice over them. I got lots of compliments for this vegetable dish. I served it with Karen's Steak and Blue Cheese Butter and Hot Off the Grill Potaotes. Way to go Karen..!!

I used thinly sliced ones as I thought it gave the dish a more delicate texture. I can't get over how simple this was!!

We used frozen french cut green beans cooked in the microwave and tossed with the lemon juice and toasted almonds. I would definitely do this again!

I loved the almonds and lemon in these beans. They made the beans look great too. Beautiful with our lamb shanks.

Added the beans and 1 1/2 tbsp bacon fat to the almonds pushing almonds up the sides of the sauté pan and covered the pan. I added minced garlic, salt and black pepper pepper. Definitelt not low fat but delicious!

This recipe was a little bland for me. But after drizzling a little bit of soy sauce, it turned out great. I roasted the almonds in a pan and add the cooked beans in the pan so that they could be nicely coat just like one of the reviewers suggested. Great way of making green beans!
