Great flavor combo! These went very nicely with my sesame fish. Thanks for posting!

The sauce in this recipe is absolutely delish. The beans however, were cold once in the bowl of ice water, so I couldn’t keep them warm as the recipe says. Next time instead of pouring the sauce over the beans I will put them in the pan with the sauce and toss till covered and warm, and then serve. The kids generally don’t like beans but they loved the sauce so they ate the beans! Thanks

This is an unusual way of dressing green beans, which I think would go beautifully as an accompaniment to plain-ish dishes such as grilled chicken. I had to use olive oil, since I forgot to buy any peanut oil, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The almonds added a nice textural variation, and the cloves really made it stand out from the crowd. Very good!

I made this last night to accompany steak and baked and it got top marks right along with the rib steak. Loved the seasoning on the beans and, as suggested by another reviewer, I put the beans into the sauce and coated them well and served at once. Yum!

I thought this recipe was great as I love cumin. I made this before dinner and just microwaved it for 30 seconds to warm it up for the dinner. Yum! Made for Veg 'N Swap tag Jan. 2012.
