Green Beans a Go Go

"This is a fast and easy way to do green beans. If using fresh beans, blanch first. Balsamic vinaigrette is easy to make and less expensive."

  • 34 lb frozen cut green beans
  • 0.25 (2 7/8 ounce) package package pre- cooked bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 4 ounces balsamic vinaigrette
  • 0.25 (3 ounce) package roasted garlic almonds (found in the produce section)

directions

  • Cook the green beans just like it says on the package.
  • Drain out the water.
  • Stir in the bacon and almonds right away.
  • Toss with balsamic vinaigrette until lightly coated and serve.

<p>Click to feed animals I'm a retired teacher now living in&nbsp;the Jamaica Plain area of Boston. I have one daughter, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson(17 yo Dec '11)! I've done leaded glass work(stained glass), which I love; am working on counted cross stitch; and am willing to try any craft, at least once! I've also worked for a major insurance company as a case analyst.
