- 1Melt butter in a medium saucepan and add the green beans and garlic cooking for 2-3 minutes over medium heat,stirring frequently.
- 2Stir in the stock and season with salt and pepper;bring to a boil.
- 3Lower heat and simmer,uncovered,for 10-15 minutes until beans are tender.
- 4Pour soup into a food processor and process until smooth.
- 5Return to pan and reheat slowly.
- 6Stir in Parmesan cheese and cream and sprinkle with parsley.
