From Stash Tea.
- 4 moroccan mint green tea bags
- 1 1⁄3 cups boiling water
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1 cup sparkling water
- ice cube
- Steep tea bags in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bags and remove.
- Add apple juice and sparkling water. Pour over ice.
I love morrocan mint green tea, and was happy to find a recipe that would let me enjoy it in a different way. That said, this is a nice recipe, but I felt that the tea was overpowered by the apple juice. I didn't taste the mint at all, so next time I will use whichever type of green tea I have on hand. I also think that 1 cup of sparkling water is not enough to balance out the juice and the plain water; the end result was not as "sparkling" as I expected. Still, it was tasty and fun. I'll be making this again, just with slightly different proportions to better suit my tastes. Thanks for sharing!
