I was craving Greek flavors, but we live an inconvenient distance away from my favorite restaurant. A glance through the pantry resulted in these, moist burgers
- 1 (12 lb) package lean ground turkey
- 1 egg
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- zataar mixed spice
- 1⁄4 lb feta cheese, crumbled
- in a large bowl, combine turkey, egg, cheese and spices. (I got my zataar from a friend who went to Israel, but you can probably find it at a local spice shop).
- Form 6 patties and bake for 20 or 30 minutes.
