Absolutly heavenly! I love the feta!
Excellent recipe and one of the BEST pasta salads I have ever had. I used fresh greek oregano, a small jar of "marinated" artichokes, drained, along with both black & manzanilla olives; and then topped w/ greek peppers. I thought it was best after being refrigerated at least 24 hours to allow the flavors marry.
Very easy and tasty. I would probably leave out the garbanzos next time even though I usually like them -to let the feta shine through with the veggies. I also doubled the dressing and poured half on, saved the other half for tomorrow. Overall a great fast salad that would be perfect for picnics!
Took this to a baby shower today and it was a big hit. I did have to double the dressing after letting it rest overnight as the pasta soaked up the dressing and became too dry. But the flavors were great. Have already emailed it to other guests who loved it!!
Wonderful salad. I used Kalamata olives in addition to the black olives. I think next time I will make extra dressing because I found the salad was a little dry the next day. Thanks!
We liked it although we thought the dressing was too acidic. I doubled the dressing because I think it would have been dry. I also wasn't sure whether it was dry or fresh oregano so I used 1/2 the recommended quantity of dried oregano. I used both black and green olives. I used a 4 ounce package of feta cheese and I think it could have used more.
OH MY! This is a wonderfully delicious salad! The colors are brilliant and the taste is truly out of this world! The homemade dressing really makes this salad! I have made this numerous times - I double or triple depending on the event- and there is NEVER any left! I have also given out numerous copies of Carol's recipe! Thanks Carol for sharing this WONDERFUL salad! It is in my personal recipe box - rated 5 stars!
I was in need of a good pasta salad & then came accross this one, liked the ingredients & so decided to make for my card party. An awesome salad with great flavors traveling all through these delicious ingredients. I also used greek olives and added about 2 more tablespoons of olive oil. This was tasty, tasty and more tasty the next day (I assume it would be) mine did not make it that far. Thanks Carol for this great keeper,
A very nice salad. I admit, I didn't use alot of the veggies (my kids dont approve), but what we did use was really good. I think its better the next day so next time I will let it sit overnight to soak up some of that yummy goodness. thank you for sharing your recipe with us.
I made this recipe for our Memorial Day picnic-everyone enjoyed it and I was asked to make it again for a graduation party next week! The only thing I changed was that I doubled the dressing ingredients (except for the garlic and oregano)-the mixture seemed a little dry when I followed the directions so i just doubled the liquid amounts-PERFECT!
