Ouzo cocktail. Serve in an old-fashion glass, garnished with a slice of orange.


  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into an old-fashion glass filled with ice.

I had pretty much the same recipe and really enjoyed it! Before you try this, make sure that you know what ouzo is like - it has a very strong licorice taste, like anise, and is very good if you like that! Make sure that you use freshly squeezed lemon and orange juices. Thanks for posting!

For me it was a little bit too sour but DH drank it without any problems. This has a great taste even if it's too sour for me LOL Thanks Amanda. Made for Beverage tag.

Just couldn't handle ouzo with orange juice...I think I'm getting close to believing that I like ouzo chilled with a coffee bean - straight...I HATE giving bad reviews and I think others will LOVE this recipe but it just didn't appeal to my taste buds. Gave it to friend to drink. ZWT4
