Moist and delicious, this pound cake is wonderful alone, but also serves as a foundation for berries, lemon curd or a glaze of your choice.
- Cream butter and sugar together. While beating sugar/butter mixture, add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
- Alternate adding flour and whipping cream until all are added. Pour batter into greased, floured tube or Bundt pan.
- Place in cold oven set for 300°F Cook for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool in pan for 25 minutes before removing.
