  1. Cut bread in half long ways.
  2. Cut into serving size pieces 4 or 5 each half.
  3. In a bowl mix butter and garlic.
  4. Spread on each slice.
  5. Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese.
  6. Broil until toasted.

With the exception of the bread crumbs, this is the way I prepare my garlic bread and the family loves it. Next time, I will add the bread crumbs. That sounds like a nice twist. Thanks ArtWork for posting this great recipe.

This was the bomb! Super simple. The Italian bread crumbs sprinkled on top made the difference. Will certainly make this again and again.
