I noticed there aren't nearly enough banana bread recipes in here ;-> . All the ones I looked through seemed to be a bit different from mine, so I thought I would add one more.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.
  2. Cream shortening, sugar, milk and eggs.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and add to shortening mix.
  4. Stir in bananas and mix well.
  5. Pour into greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake about 55 minutes or until golden brown, check with toothpick.
