This is my rendition of Green Beans. Always gets rave reviews!
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 slices turkey bacon, chopped or 2 slices regular bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb green beans
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 14 ounces chicken broth
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- Saute' turkey bacon and onion in olive in a skillet on medium-high heat until the onion is translucent.
- Add remainder of ingredients.
- Cook green beans until desired consistency (my husband likes them really soft).
